great. a little more than 12 hours to go to tipoff. i'm nervous. i'm not scared, but i am nervous. well, that's basketball. to most people, it's just a game. but to me, it's far more than that. i know someone who shares the same sentiment:

well, last na to eh. my last year. my last shot. there are a lot of factors now. especially on paper. all the other sections ARE better, bigger and stronger than us. and they've all had the chance to play in the finals. at least one player in each class, i'm sure of that. but here, in my class, may double jinx..
1) the curse of kenjie
kenjie has played basketball in each and every intrams in zobel. oftentimes, he led his respective teams in scoring. but despite that, he has never won a single intramurals basketball game in his zobel life. ever.
2) the curse of richard
okay, this isn't as grave a matter as kenjie's curse. i've had the priviledge to play in the second round. well, twice. in, say, 8 years. and i've never made it past that crucial second round.
but still..we throw all of that out of the window now. it's winning time. it doesn't matter i've never played as well as often projected. i repeat, it's winning time. and i'm not scared. not scared at all.

i finally attended praise last night at St. James lower chapel and yeah, i guess i found my peace there. i could finally tell myself that i was home. i've never seen people so passionately give thanks and praise to the Lord. it was just awesome, especially when the praise ministry played "awesome God" and everyone started singing and truly giving praise. God really made me feel so at home there plus i got to met some new people. everyone was very nice naman. and Stewie was there! i don't know if anyone else remembers christine stewart from wayyyy back in grade school..we used to be classmates until she transferred to Woodrose. but wow, after all these years, i got to see her again. some zobel people were there too..i forgot their names though. hahahahaha.
i dunno..i just found myself really satisfied and happy being there, giving thanks to the Lord and actually, i lost all my doubts about His will for me. kasi He's been telling me only one thing for like, all week.
"look away." and i've decided to just let it all go. He'll take care of me. i trust Him with all my heart..i know i'll be in good hands.
now, i've been doing just that..looking away..and i feel okay. it's been so much better. i guess this is part of His plan. pero last night, i was with kevin. we were just walking around St. James while waiting for my dad to pick me up. it was so bleak..so cold and dark. it was warm inside praise but it was so cold outside. and whenever i look up at the bell tower thing sa main entrance ng church, i really can't help but notice that despite the coldness, the darkness, and the bleakness that surrounded the place, the view was magnificent. it had this sort of beauty within its sadness. and it made me realize that maybe things would never work out if she found out about my true feelings for her but i will always be happily in love with her..i guess this is enough. she'll be okay. maybe someday. i just hope that i'll be there to see her finally having the happiness she truly deserves.

and i realized one thing more. one thing i can't seem to shake off..
